“Collective study of literature of Dr. B .R. Ambedkar by Samata Sainik Dal at Deekshabhoomi Nagpur.”
Topic: Buddha and future of his Religion.
–Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.
Following points have been studied and understood.
How could this ideal of spreading Buddhism be realized? Three steps appear to be quite necessary.
First: To produce a Buddhist Bible.
Second: To make changes in the organisation, aims and objects of the Bhikkhu Sangha.
Third:To set up a world Buddhist Mission.
* The production of a Bible of Buddhism is the first and foremost need.
* In the Bhikkhu Sangha of today living up to these ideals?
The answer is emphatically in the negative. It neither guides the people nor does it serve them.
* Without a Mission Buddhism can hardly spread. As education requires to be given, religion requires to be propagated. Propagation cannot be undertaken without men and money. Who can supply these? Obviously the countries where Buddhism is a living religion.
